Formed in Stoke-on-Trent in 1965, Combustion Linings specialises in refractory linings - particularly body soluble fibre systems - for boilers, furnaces, kilns and incinerators. With decades of experience in ceramic fibre as well as pre-cast concrete shapes, bricks, castables and mouldables, we engineer linings to withstand intense heat and the most demanding operating conditions.

We supply refractory linings to most UK boiler manufacturers including Hoval, Hartley & Sugden, Byworth, Fulton and Cochran, with drawings and details for many makes and models. Our body soluble fibre kits are quick and easy to install, and we also supply pre-cast linings for CFB boilers. We undertake all types of refractory lining contracts - brickwork, casting, ramming and fibre installations - offering supply-only or full supply and installation for special brick shapes, burner quarls and lining kits to suit any boiler.

We supply the complete range of refractory products including boards, ropes, jointing cement, concrete, rigidiser and mouldables. We have lined numerous thermal oxidisers for Anguil Environmental using layered blanket, fibre modules, castable and ceramic blocks, and carry out lining repairs anywhere in the world when required.

Our engineers are skilled in bricklaying, welding and pattern making, and are all Confined Space trained. We travel throughout the UK installing linings, and with a worldwide client base we have the capacity and will to manufacture and install refractory linings anywhere - from our base at Jacaidam Works, Sandbach Road, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent.
